Welcome to the Hellenic Youth Club of Canberra! For those who were unaware that Canberra had a Greek youth group, the Hellenic Youth Club was established in 1972, and with the continued support of the Hellenic Club of Canberra, has been successfully running events for its members ever since!

So after a jam packed '07, this year took of with your committee and some dedicated helpful members working the souvlaki store at the Food and Dance Spectacular. The store was a great success, and the profits that were made are going to go towards a good cause - our members! A big thankyou goes to those who came and helped, and those who came and bought a souvlaki.

Then, the HYC went to the Sydney Greek Festival and had an absolute ball. The weekend was well spent, with the group heading to Bondi, hanging around the harbour and clubbing at Home. A few weeks later, we all sped down the track in our go-carts, played some crazy laser wars and caught a movie together in our jammed packed day of Triple Trella. Then, we revived the good old 'Music and Lights', and the night was spent dancing away to the awesome tunes of DJ Nicky Zee, flown down especially from Queensland.

So, what's next? Well, the annual HYC Snow Trip is happening on the August 2nd. We're heading off to Perisher for a day of skiing, snowboarding and snow fights!!. Click here for more information.
